My new dinnerware!

So I decided to share my new dinnerware. I’ve been in love with this set for a while, and thanks to Dawnie, I was able to get it. I’m super excited and have already had many cups of tea & coffee and bowls of cereal. I’m just looking for things to eat so I can use the set.
I’ll probably have a small dinner party soon to make the most of it.

Internet Woes

So, I can’t log my computer onto the internet to save the world. I’ve reset my modem and my wireless router – same result. Stone age.

Oddly, I can still live stream Netflix via my PS3. Weird, right?
I thought maybe the MacBook was just being mean, but the connection doesn’t work for my HP Mini either. This really sucks.

Looks like I’ll be reading Steinbeck by candlelight tonight.
Without the internet, do I really need electricity? <-- Maybe that was a little dramatic.
Pray for me.

This summer has been a lot of fun. Of course, I didn’t get anywhere near as much work done as I should have. But really… does productivity outweigh fun? Probably so, but I like to make myself feel better with circular reasoning.

Finally sold these!

I had a housewarming a couple weeks ago, and I finally sold these shoes. I’ve had them since Hecht’s was bought out. I tried on a gazillion pairs of black pumps and somehow, I purchased a box that said 10 but the shoes were size 9.5. I couldn’t take them back because technically, Hecht’s no longer existed. So three years later, they are off my hands.

Next I have to get rid of these…

At least I know I have a problem. Over the past few weeks I have seriously ordered a gazillion items off the internet. My latest victims have been Tobi, Anthropologie, Urban Outfitters, Free People, Calvin Klein, and Nasty Gal. I’ll have to take some photos of the keepers. In other irrelevant news, why does it take forever for my packages to arrive from TOBI?! Seriously!?!

This weekend I spent 24 hours in Boston and the surrounding area (Worcester, Auburn, some other place where I was lost)….

I happened upon a lot of cool stuff, so I wanted to share.

1st – Second Time Around. I loved this place and the associates were so friendly. My friend and I were clearly their neediest customers. I found a lot of clip on earrings – *swoon* and Kiki bought a skirt that she’ll wear as a dress.

There was this ridiculously huge and awesome necklace that I wanted. It was not in my budget though. Dear necklace, I will dream of thee. I didn’t really know what it meant – although I guessed something along the lines of dominator and my friend thought Dominican. Meh, I would’ve worn it regardless.

Why did I leave you behind?! Because I'm poor.

After fitting in some shopping and a long wait for our waitress to come and take our order at Legal Seafood (they never came and we actually left)… I headed to Worcester to get ready for the holy matrimony of two friends from school.

I have never been to a church with such detailed paintings and art on the walls & ceilings.

And let the record read: “Albanians know how to party.”

Gilt Groupe is having a sale on Alexander Wang clothing and accessories. It starts at noon today, so be ready. After spying the Diego in person at Stel’s this weekend – it’s been haunting me. I know I can only fight the Wang handbag ghosts by purchasing one. Makes sense right?

I’m late, I’m late, I’m late!

My status on my BBM is “White Rabbit.” I always feel like that character from Alice in Wonderland. I’m referring to the Disney version, I haven’t seen the latest one.

One of my favorite movie characters came to see me. My Hobbit!

Who knows when I will get a chance to post again, so I will make this one picture heavy.

I’ve been trying out my new camera and I absolutely love it. Maybe I will actually get a photography book and learn how to take photos on a setting other than auto! Don’t judge me!

I look kind of crazy in this picture.

A couple weeks a go I went out to help Lauri celebrate her birthday. Happy Birthday! I’m so happy to have a new friend coming to the area!

Ana Locking is reading my mind with these new wedges.

They also come in a beautiful pink and brown color way, as well. I’d probably break my neck trying to wear these around the lab. However, they are closed toe which means they are acceptable footwear when handling chemicals!

The new Common & Queen Latifah movie drops soon. I can’t wait to see it.

In the meantime, Common has dropped a couple of mixtapes over on his blog. I was in love with the 1st mixtape, and I’m in love with the second one.
